Twitter new feature Will help user to filter hospitals for beds availability.

NEW DELHI: With a surgeon in the second wave of coronavirus, people in India are turning to social media for help. In order to make their lives easier and to help the people, the microblogging website Twitter rolled out a few new features.
These advanced search features will help people in searching the availability of hospital beds, oxygen cylinders and drugs like Remdesivir.

Announcing the features, Twitter India tweeted, “All across the country, people are using Twitter to find the latest information and access to resources right now. As this people’s movement unfolds, we wanted to remind you of some of the features that could help you find what you’re looking for. for faster # Covid19IndiaHelp 🧵. ”


The Twitter new feature will help users to filter out tweets according to the resources they are looking for. The feature also enables users to see tweets closer to their current location so that they can get timely help. A toggle button placed on the right side of the search bar will help users turn on the ‘Near You’ button under location. Users should keep their location turned on for this feature to work.

Along with this Twitter users can also ensure that the most recent tweets appear on the top of their timeline. They can do so by tapping on the sparkle button located on the top right of their home timeline.

Meanwhile, Twitter and other social media platforms have removed about 100 posts and URLs after the government asked them to remove content that was critical of the handling of the current medical crisis or spreading fake news around the pandemic.
